LSTC (LundaEkonomerna Student Tech Club) aims for students who have a genuine common interest in Information Technology (IT), LSTC organizes a wide range of knowledge exchange activities in order to develop software, apps, websites and other technologies together in groups, with the main purpose to promote students' skills and understanding of new technologies and software.
A subpurpose for LSTC is to share explicit knowledge to other nontechnical students, so that they also can be able to create a sense of which technologies and software that they latter may encounter in their professional lives, and how some of these may be an aid in their current studies. This by LSTC organizes technical lectures held by students or professionals from the business community.
LSTC is committed to openness and freedom in using different programming languages, development tools and software, so that the students can gain a broad picture of the market and have the opportunity to specialize in any area.
