The council (FullmÀktige) is LundaEkonomerna supreme governing body. The council consists of 21 regular and 10 alternate members who sit for a year. All members of LundaEkonomerna have the opportunity to vote, nominate and stand. The Annual elections take place on a fortnightly basis during the spring semester. The council made all important decisions relating to education, LundaEkonomerna operation and future.
The council also decides on LundaEkonomerna budget and appoints the full-time remunerated (chairman, vice-president, treasurer and business manager), student directors, all committee and student representatives of all agencies (eg Department Board and the Academic Society Over Board) which LundaEkonomerna are represented.
