1. Describe the committee/activity
As head of alumni and a member of the Board, you are responsible for the long-term and visionary work of LundaEkonomerna on a strategic level. You are also responsible for, and in contact with a number of committees much related to your area of work.
2. What are the main lines of work?
Strategy and implementation of long-term goals within the Board.
Representation of LundaEkonomerna at events, meetings and parties.
Development of the alumni function within the Union.
Head of The Astro Order.
3. Timeframe: How much time do you put down every week? More or less on some weeks?
Should be around 20h per week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Can be much around november if you have a strong commitment to The Winter Ball and probably also around April/May with The Astro Gala. Peaks can also occur during weeks with workshops in the Board or occasions with lots of representation. However, most of the time the workload is fairly even.
4. What do you believe are the main personal characteristics needed for the post?
Broad perspective and good understanding for the Union. Great creativity, and have to be autonomous and a "go-getter". Patience and negotiating skills as well as leadership skills are needed for the work as representative and board member. It is also very good to be stress-resistant, optimistic and social.
