As the Head of Corporate Relations you have three main tasks. The first one is governing and supervising the seven career committees. Secondly, you should keep in touch and renegotiate the agreements LundaEkonomerna have with partners. The last main thing is to meet with new companies and promote LundaEkonomerna’s activities. You are also engaged to come up with new ideas that can help LundaEkonomerna develop the career section.
You are as Head of Corporate Relation a member of LundaEkonomerna’s Board consisting of 9 persons. Hence, you are engaged in making large and small decisions for LundaEkonomerna. The Board work requires strong commitment and great understanding of the organization. Together, the Board determines the strategic direction for the Union, the Board is also responsible for operational activities and the key decisions within the organization. You should have a strong commitment and an understanding of how the organization works when you are a member of the Board.
The Head of Corporate Relations is a full time position. You should be at Skånis from 10 to 17 on weekdays. Almost every week there are about 2-4 evening events that you should attend, since you are a part of the Board you should be there to represent LundaEkonomerna.
You have to be open-minded and have an ability to be a good team leader and team member. It is important that you are engaged in your work and that you are independent. If you have former experience of working in the Union this would be an advantage, but this is nothing that is required. You should be open and positive towards meeting new people, it is also important that you can sell in LundaEkonomerna to the companies that you meet.
