As Head of Social Relations in LundaEkonomerna’s Board you will work to ensure that the members of the Union are offered the most attractive social events in StudentLund. You will work closely with the Activity project, and possibly other committees, to implement LundaEkonomerna’s vision in the social activities of the Union. The Activity project arranges events such as Tandem LundaEkonomerna, the Committee mingle, LundaEkonomerna’s Singbook, the new event Taste and LundaEkonomerna’s annual ski-trip.
In addition to your role as an advisor to committees you will also work as a board member in LundaEkonomerna, this work is not related to your work with social activities. As board member you will participate in board meeting, General Council, LundaEkonomerna committee meetings and represent the Union at various events held by our committees and partner companies. In your role as board member you will work to develop the Union as a whole and are expected to work with strategic and operational development together with the other members of the Board. This means that you should have a passion for problem solving, a good sense for decision-making and a long term perspective for the Union.
Being a board member and Head of Social Relations is a responsibility that demands much time and effort. You should count with at least 10 hours of work per week but should also keep in mind that the time spent varies over the semester and that 20 hours per week or more is often more accurate in intense periods. There are no limitations to what you as a board member may achieve during this year, this greatly depend on how much additional time you want to put in.
Being Head of Social Relations and a member of the Board is a tremendous learning experience that definitely will broaden your personal network.
