The novice committee is the committee within LundaEkonomerna who arrange the big introduction week for new Swedish students in the start of every semester. The tasks for the general and vice general are to plan the introduction week and the novice party, all together with the committee. It requires commitment during the whole semester in form of preparations and planning and it usually steps up at the end. During the introduction week you need to have 100% energy and a big smile on your lips no matter what. It’s very long days and you might need to pepp your committee members when you’re cleaning Skånis at 6 am. You should be a forward person with the interest of meeting people. It’s a strength if you’ve been previously involved with the Novice Committee or in the introduction week. It’s a requirement that you speak Swedish since all the activities during the week will be taking part in Swedish.
