About being a Vice Project Leader to be Project Leader

You will start with being Vice Project Leader for one semester, where you, together with the Project Leader, will lead the operations and run the committee consisting of an additional 3 excited members. As a Project Leader, your overall goal is to make sure that the work of the committee runs efficiently and meets its goals. This means being responsible for educating the committee members, coordinating meetings, and also handling the current accounting but with more responsibility. You will have the opportunity to develop the committee in the direction you desire as well as challenge both yourself and the committee members to reach your ambitions. Along with this you will get a broader understanding of the union as a whole as well as improve your accounting and finance skills.

The workload of the position will vary depending on the operations within LundaEkonomerna, more events and activities entail a heavier workload, with approximately 5-10 hours a week. The position requires a good sense of numbers, having an organized work structure and being meticulous as well as having an interest in accounting. Since the position is a leadership position it is favorable if you have leadership experience but it is no requirement. The position also has no requirements of prior experience in accounting as you will be trained and tutored.

As a Project Leader, you will also become a member of the Collegium of LundaEkonomerna. The Collegium is a forum where you will be able to enhance your leadership skills, get support, and also have the opportunity to impact the Union as a whole. The collegium consists of all the Project Leaders of LundaEkonomerna’s committees and projects.


About the Treasury

The Treasury consists of two (to be three) committee members and two project leaders and
their main function is to support and alleviate the Treasurer in certain tasks related to the finances and accounting of the union. The Treasury works closely together with the Treasurer and its main tasks and responsibilities consist of handling the influx of receipts and expense reports, handling the current accounting and bookkeeping of the union’s transactions, and assisting the Treasurer in other additional various financial administration tasks.
