About LEST.


Since 2013, the Lund Economics Stockholm Tour is one of the most exciting projects within LundaEkonomerna. If you are interested in a career in economics, this three day trip to Stockholm is the perfect opportunity to kick-start it. We will visit renowned companies and organisations that will introduce you to exciting career opportunities. You will get the chance to talk to decision-makers of, maybe your future employer, and bridge the gap between your academic and future professional life.

As a student of LUSEM, you are welcomed to the Stockholm offices of some of the most exciting companies and organisations in Sweden. The companies will present themselves and potential positions they offer. Afterwards, you will not only get the opportunity to ask questions and to network, but you will also get the unique chance to show them your skills during cases and workshops, and get the possibility to go on an interview.

Take the chance to interact with companies and build connections that will support your future career! This years trip to Stockholm takes place between the 24th to 26th of April. The cost of the trip is 700 SEK subsidized by LundaEkonomerna. The price included transportation roundtrip Lund-Stockholm, 2 nights of accommodation, transportation within Stockholm and most of the food and beverages.

Fjärde AP-fonden (AP4) is a state pension fund in the Swedish general income pension system with a managed capital of SEK 349 billion at year-end 2018. Their mission is to contribute to financial security for today's and tomorrow's pensioners by managing part of the public pension system's buffer capital. AP4's long-term perspective; accountability as owner and great commitment to sustainability, creates opportunities for high returns at low cost.

The National Board of Trade is the Swedish government agency for international trade. The Boards main mission is to promote a smoothly functioning international trade and trading policies that are in interest of Sweden. They both provide analysis on ongoing international trade negotiations to the Swedish Government, as well as assisting companies facing trade barriers on the EU internal market. The Board are also involved in development cooperation where they are working together with developing countries to better access the benefits of international trade. If you are interested in a future within international trade, this is the place for you.
