The Novice Committee creates an unforgettable introduction to student life by planning and delivering LUSEM’s Novice Weeks, welcoming new students into the community each semester.

About the Role as Communications Coordinator in the Novice Committee

As a Communications Coordinator in the Novice Committee, you will be responsible for creating and managing the committee’s marketing and communication materials throughout the Novice Week project.

Your responsibilities include producing content for Instagram and Facebook, coordinating communication with LUSEM’s Marketing Group, creating promotional material, and documenting the Novice Week through photography and video content.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and interested in social media and content creation. Experience with photography, editing software, or graphic design is considered a plus, but most importantly, you should enjoy visual communication and creative storytelling.

The workload varies depending on campaigns, content production, and event periods throughout the project, though the expected time commitment is around 8–10 hours per week.  Please note that Swedish is not a requirement for this role, but fluency in English is necessary.

By taking on this role, you will gain valuable experience in social media management, branding, and digital content creation while becoming part of the Novice Committee and contributing to one of LundaEkonomerna’s largest projects.
