Being a part of our mentorship program gives you the opportunity to get an experienced mentor to help and guide you, along with an amazing network. Being adept means that you are a driven student who understands the value of networking and seizes the opportunity to exchange ideas with someone successful within the working life.

As a WILMA-adept, you will:
– Get support from your mentor on concerns about your future career and opportunities.
– An opportunity for personal development through discussion and reflection.
– Create new contacts within the network.

How does it work?
First of all, every student at LUSEM can apply to be an adept, no matter what semester you’re in and you don’t need any prior knowledge. The mentorship begins with your application to become an adept. Here you specify what you want to get out of your mentorship. The next step is up to us to match you with one of our fantastic mentors. We take your applications into consideration and try to make the best match possible. You’re also matched with a co-adept giving you the opportunity to expand your network! You’re a part of the mentorship program preferably during a year, exceptions can be made if you have an exchange semester planned. You will meet your mentor 2-3 times a semester and it’s up to you to make the most out of your mentorship. Every semester we have limited mentors therefore we can’t guarantee a spot in the mentorship program.

The WILMA network consists of driven and motivated students, who study business administration, economics, or system sciences at Lund University School of Economics and Management, one of the highest-ranked business schools in Sweden. Our WILMA mentors can be found in different companies and areas, but they are all driven and successful women who want to inspire and develop others. Through this collaboration, you get the unique opportunity to meet our members and to build valuable relationships at an early stage. 

As a mentor, you have the chance to get in contact with two students that will be your adepts for a year. The mentorship program consists of two to three private meetings with you and your adepts every semester. In addition to the meetings, WILMA provides interesting and enriching events for you to get to know the rest of the mentors and their adepts.
