The Novice Committee creates an unforgettable introduction to student life by planning and delivering LUSEM’s Novice Weeks, welcoming new students into the community each semester.

About the Role as Corporate Relations Coordinator in the Novice Committee

As a Corporate Relations Coordinator in the Novice Committee, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with companies and sponsors connected to the Novice Week.

Your responsibilities include contacting businesses for sponsorships, coordinating collaborations, and ensuring that the Novice Week is supported with products, snacks, drinks, and company participation throughout the event. The role is divided between product sponsorships and company collaborations, and you will work closely together to support the committee’s activities and budget.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, confident, and comfortable in professional environments. You should enjoy networking, communication, and building long-term relationships with external partners.

The workload varies depending on sponsorship processes, negotiations, and upcoming events throughout the project period, though the expected time commitment is around 8–10 hours per week.  Please note that Swedish is not a requirement for this role, but fluency in English is necessary.

By taking on this role, you will gain valuable experience in sales, negotiation, and corporate relations while becoming part of the Novice Committee and contributing to one of the largest student events at LundaEkonomerna.
