The Novice Committee creates an unforgettable introduction to student life by planning and delivering LUSEM’s Novice Weeks, welcoming new students into the community each semester.

About the Role as Social Activity Coordinator in the Novice Committee

As a Social Activity Coordinator in the Novice Committee, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading activities during the Novice Week.

Your responsibilities include coordinating schedules, planning games and activities, and ensuring that each day of the Novice Week creates an engaging and memorable experience for participants. You will work closely with the committee to prepare logistics and event concepts connected to your assigned day.

We are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, and organized. You should enjoy hosting events, leading activities, and creating social experiences that bring students together.

The workload varies depending on planning periods and the schedule of the Novice Week, though the expected time commitment is around 8–10 hours per week.  Please note that Swedish is not a requirement for this role, but fluency in English is necessary.

By taking on this role, you will gain valuable experience in event coordination, leadership, and teamwork while becoming part of the Novice Committee and contributing to one of the most important student experiences at LundaEkonomerna.
