About the Role as Event Coordinator in the International Committee

As an Event Coordinator in the International Committee, you will be responsible for planning and organizing events that promote internationalization and create engaging experiences for students.

Your responsibilities include contributing to the planning and execution of events such as the Buddy Program, Lund International Week, the International Festival, Midsummer sittning, and other activities connected to the committee’s work. You will work both with developing existing concepts and creating new initiatives and ideas for the committee.

We are looking for someone who is creative, open-minded, and passionate about internationalization. You should enjoy event planning, teamwork, and creating social experiences that bring students together.

The workload varies depending on the event schedule and planning periods throughout the semester, though the expected time commitment is around 8–10 hours per week.  Please note that Swedish is not a requirement for this role, but fluency in English is necessary.

By taking on this role, you will gain valuable experience in event planning, teamwork, and project coordination while becoming part of the International Committee and contributing to an inclusive and international student environment.

Please note that one position runs for two semesters, while two positions run for one semester.
