Are you creative, social and interested in communication? Do you want to contribute to improving the education at LUSEM while developing your skills in social media, marketing and content creation? Then the Communications Coordinator role could be perfect for you!
The Education Committee’s main task is educational surveillance and student representation. Through Speak Up Days, collaboration with class representatives and by gathering students’ opinions, we make sure that the voices of LUSEM students are heard in meetings with the school, faculty and other relevant university bodies.
As the Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for the committee’s social media and other communication channels. You will create content, promote our events and communicate what the Education Committee does to students. You will have the freedom to come up with your own ideas for campaigns, posts and other ways of reaching students. Previous experience in social media, marketing or graphic design is a plus, but not a requirement. Creativity and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
As an Active Member, you will be part of the general work of the Education Committee while also taking responsibility for your specific team. This semester, we are putting an extra focus on more internal events and activities, such as sittningar, a grand kick-off, after works and much more. You may get the opportunity to help plan and organize these events, but most importantly, take part in them and get to know the rest of the committee!
The role is a great opportunity to take responsibility, develop practical skills and build a strong addition to your CV. You will also receive extra merit points when applying for exchange studies.
