Do you want to develop your skills in collecting, analyzing and presenting information while contributing to improving the education for yourself and your fellow students? Then the Speak Up Days Coordinator role could be perfect for you!
The Education Committee’s main task is educational surveillance and student representation. Through Speak Up Days, collaboration with class representatives and by gathering student’s opinions, we make sure that the voices of LUSEM students are heard in meetings with the school, faculty and other relevant university bodies.
Speak Up Days is the Education Committee’s biggest event of the semester, where students across LUSEM get the opportunity to speak up about their education and experiences. During the week, we collect students’ opinions through a survey while creating a fun atmosphere in Ljusgården with competitions, games and great prizes.
As the Speak Up Days Coordinator, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting the data gathered during Speak Up Days. You will identify important data trends and insights, and then compile the results into a report. You will therefore play an important role in turning student’s opinions into concrete insights that can help improve their education. If working with data in spreadsheets, drawing conclusions from information and presenting results sounds interesting to you, this could be the role for you!
As an Active Member, you will be part of the general work of the Education Committee while also taking responsibility for your specific area. This semester, we are putting an extra focus on internal events and activities, such as sittningar, a grand kick-off, afterworks and much more. You may get the opportunity to help plan and organize these events, but most importantly, take part in them and get to know the rest of the committee!
The role is a great opportunity to take responsibility, develop practical skills in data analysis and presentation, and build a valuable addition to your CV. You will also receive extra merit points when applying for exchange studies.
If you want to combine data and analysis with making a real impact on the education at LUSEM, we would love to have you in the committee!
