About the Role
As an auditor at BDO, you play an important role in society and a central role in supporting businesses through their development and transformation. You will gain a thorough understanding of clients’ financial operations, ensure the accuracy of financial information, identify opportunities and risks, and help businesses make critical decisions.
You will be based at one of our welcoming offices, where our service lines include Audit, Tax, Advisory, and Business Services. From day one, you will become an important part of BDO’s audit team and growth journey. You will work closely with colleagues within Audit and other business areas, as well as with our offices throughout the region.
Your work will involve a variety of client engagements, reviewing clients’ accounting records and management practices. You will have direct contact with clients and significant opportunities to take responsibility and build your own professional network.

About You
To thrive as an auditor with us, you are goal-oriented and highly self-motivated. We work in an environment that is constantly evolving, and to succeed in this role you should be innovative, adaptable, and able to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
You are a strong relationship builder who enjoys working with a clear client-service focus and creating long-term client relationships. Commercial awareness is important to us, and we are looking for someone who is eager to understand both the client and their business. That is how we will succeed together.
To be successful in the role, you should have:
- A completed university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field by the start of employment.
- Previous work experience in a customer service and/or sales-oriented role.
- Experience in accounting, finance, and/or auditing is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, as BDO is part of a global organization.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Our Recruitment Process

- Reference checks and background screening will be conducted for final candidates as the last step of the process, subject to the candidate’s approval.
