Are you outgoing, communicative and enjoy bringing people together? Do you want to make sure students’ voices are heard while developing your skills in communication, coordination and leadership? Then the Class Representative Coordinator role could be perfect for you!
As a Class Representative Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and coordinating our class representatives. You will get to know students across LUSEM, organize meetings and facilitate discussions where class representatives can share the opinions and concerns of their classes. You will then bring this feedback into the Education Committee, helping us identify the issues that matter most to students.
You will also be responsible for organizing our Thank You Sittning at the end of the semester which is a chance to gather all our class representatives and celebrate their contribution throughout the year.
As an Active Member, you will be part of the general work of the Education Committee while also planning and executing the work of your specific team. This semester, we are also putting an extra focus on more internal events and activities, such as sittningar, a grand kick-off, after works and much more. You may get the opportunity to help plan and organize these events, but most importantly, take part in them and get to know the rest of the committee!
The role is a great opportunity to take responsibility, meet new people, develop your communication and leadership skills, and add valuable experience to your CV. Previous experience is a plus, but not a requirement. You will also receive extra merit points when applying for exchange studies.
