The LE Band is LundaEkonomerna’s house band, bringing energy to balls, sittnings, and other events while giving members the chance to develop their musical talent and perform together.
About Being a Member of LE Band
As a member of LE Band, you will perform at a variety of LundaEkonomerna events such as Vinterbalen, Pytten, sittnings, and other social gatherings throughout the year.
Your responsibilities include attending weekly rehearsals, creating setlists, planning performances, and contributing to the band’s musical direction together with the other members. There is also the opportunity to develop and organize smaller creative events connected to the band.
We are looking for people who are passionate about music and enjoy performing in front of others. LE Band welcomes musicians from different musical backgrounds, including singers, guitarists, drummers, bass players, and other instrumentalists. Previous band experience is considered a plus, but it is not required.
The workload varies depending on rehearsals, performances, and event schedules throughout the year, though the expected time commitment is around 8–10 hours per week. Please note that Swedish is not a requirement for this role, but fluency in English is necessary.
By joining LE Band, you will gain valuable experience in live performance, teamwork, and musical collaboration while becoming part of a creative and social community within LundaEkonomerna.
This position is open for both full year commitment and one semester commitment.
