Gillis is the Vice President of LundaEkonomerna, a full-time position. His job is to ensure that all students receive the best education possible. This is done by monitoring, influencing, and improving the education through participation in the highest decision-making bodies within the faculty, as well as the university. Gillis maintains an ongoing dialogue with LUSEM’s board and senior management. If you have any questions about educational surveillance, the quality or content of your education, student-related issues, or general questions about the school and its management, Gillis can help you.

Gillis is LundaEkonomerna’s representative at LUS – the umbrella organisation for Student Unions at Lund University. In LUS, he is LundaEkonomerna’s voice on matters that affect all of Lund’s students. Along with the President, he also represents LundaEkonomerna in U9, a national network consisting of the largest 9 unions and associations for business & economics students in Sweden.

To coordinate our educational surveillance, Gillis works closely with the Educational Affairs Manager, Benjamin Thorsell, and the Education Committee. He chairs LundaEkonomerna’s Education Council, and is responsible for our Opinions Program. He is also the contact person for Nådiga Lundtan.

Previously, Gillis has been Event Coordinator in the Education Committee.
