Do you want to be part of recruiting the new project leaders of LundaEkonomerna, including the new Board? The Nominations Committee is now looking for a new committee – that could be YOU!
The Nominations Committee is responsible for recruiting the new Project Leaders of the Union as well as the Board. The work entails handling CVs and cover letters, interviewing current project leaders, but most importantly preparing and conducting the interviews with applicants. After having held the interviews the committee is responsible for nominating the most suitable candidates for the various positions. You will not only work closely with your committee but also with the Speakers and the Board, in the preparations for the General Councils.
The workload will be even throughout most of the year, with a significant peak during the Board elections.
The committee consists of 6 members. By applying to become a member of the Nominations Committee you have the chance to develop your talent acquisition and interview skills in a learning environment. As a person, you should have advanced communication skills, value structured work, be able to handle deadlines and be the friendly face the applicant wants to meet in the interview room. Professionalism and humbleness are two other key characteristics of this position, valuing both secrecy and the democratic way within the Union. It is advantageous to have prior knowledge about Lundaekonomerna and its different committees. However, this position allows you to learn and expand your birds-eye view of the organization.

Swedish is NOT a requirement to be part of the Nominations Committee, but English fluency is. Diversity and being able to see different perspectives is highly encouraged!

The application closes the 12th of April. The position is for the school year 26/27.
Interviews will be conducted throughout the weeks of when the application is open and the following week. The General Council where the election for this position will be held will be on Monday, the 27nd of April.
