What is the Buddy Program?
The Buddy Program is an initiative aiming to welcome all the exchange students and kick off their semester in Lund! It gives exchange students the chance to learn Swedish and Lund student culture from no one else but its local students! The program features two major social events filled with mingling, partying, and cultural exchange!!
What is your role as a Buddy?
As a Buddy, your main job is simply to be a helping hand for the exchange students. Your role includes connecting with students at our events and providing guidance through a dedicated WhatsApp group where you’ll answer questions about student life, Swedish culture, and practical matters. If you want to be a Buddy together with a friend, you can let us know in your application. The program ends at the end of the Spring semester of 2025 but will focus on the beginning of the term to introduce all exchange students to Lund.
Why should I apply to be a buddy?
It’s a rewarding way to build international friendships while helping others navigate their exchange experience! Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in all the Buddy Program events organized by INTC, like parties at Skånis! Also, it’s a great way to have a lot of fun and meet new people!
