Have you ever wondered what it is like to be on the other side of the interview table? Do you want to be part of recruiting the new Project Leaders of LundaEkonomerna, including the new Board? The Nominations Committee is now looking for a new Project Leader and that could be YOU!
The Nominations Committee is responsible for recruiting the new Project Leaders of the Union as well as the new Board. The work entails marketing the positions, handling CVs and cover letters, contacting applicants, but most importantly preparing and conducting the interviews. After having held the interviews the committee is responsible for nominating the most suitable candidates for the various positions.
As Project Leader of the Nominations Committee and its 5 members, you are responsible for the delegation of tasks within the committee, as well as administrative work such as publishing open positions and nominated candidates on the website, and conducting interviews and doing the same tasks as the members. You will not only work closely with your committee, but also with the Speaker and the Board in the preparations for the General Councils.
The workload will be even throughout most of the year, with a peak during the Board elections.
By applying to become Project Leader of the Nominations Committee you have the chance to develop your leadership and interview skills in a learning environment. As a person you should have strong communication skills, value structured work, be able to handle deadlines and be the friendly face the applicant wants to meet in the interview room. Professionalism and humbleness are two other key characteristics for this position, and it is advantageous to have a good insight in the Union and the different committees.
As a Project Leader, you will also become a member of the Collegium of LundaEkonomerna, where you together with the other Project Leaders will be able to enhance your leadership skills, get support, and also have the opportunity to impact the Union as a whole.

Interviews will be conducted throughout the weeks of when the application is open and the following week. The General Council where the election for this position will be held will be on Monday the 27th of April.
