Ever wanted to be in the position of director of an orchestra? That very much sums up the position as the Speaker of the General Council at LundaEkonomerna.
This person is responsible for, and is in charge of, LundaEkonomerna´s biggest council and highest decision-making entity. During the General Councils, all major decisions concerning LundaEkonomerna are taken. For example deciding on the Union´s budget, electing the board and all heads of the committees but also discussing many strategic questions. To be the Speaker entails preparing the meetings by booking rooms, handling food preparations, writing the agenda, and making sure members of the council are informed and up to date. It is also the Speaker who is in charge of conducting the meetings by being in charge of all discussions and making sure the agenda is followed.
As a Project Leader, you will become a member of the Collegium of LundaEkonomerna. In the Collegium, you will together with the other Project Leaders be able to enhance your leadership skills, get support, and have the opportunity to impact the union as a whole.
