About Being a Member of the Treasury Committee
As a member of the Treasury Committee, you will support the Treasurer with the union’s financial administration and day-to-day accounting tasks.
Your responsibilities include processing receipts, assisting with bookkeeping and budgeting, and helping monitor committee finances throughout the year. You will also contribute to maintaining structured financial processes and supporting the union’s overall financial management.
We are looking for someone who is disciplined, organized, and comfortable handling responsibility. Previous experience in accounting or budgeting is considered a strong advantage, and you should be able to work professionally and efficiently under pressure.
The workload varies depending on financial deadlines and ongoing projects, though the expected time commitment is approximately 8–10 hours per week. Swedish is a requirement for this role.
By taking on this role, you will gain valuable experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial administration while becoming part of the Treasury and contributing to the financial operations of LundaEkonomerna.
